Hong Kong Moods: Art Basel Hong Kong

Last month Art Basel took place in Hong Kong and we got lucky enough to get tickets. I went several times since it was quite big and the quality of the galleries and the work exhibited was high. The best time was in the morning before 2pm, before the crowds came in. We found that people were open to share information on the artists they were exhibiting and we discovered many artist unknown to us, especially Asian ones. Here are just a few pictures I made while strolling through the fair.

Le mois dernier Art Basel ouvrait ses portes pour la première fois à Hong Kong et nous avons eu la chance d'avoir des tickets. J'y suis allée plusieurs fois car la quantité de galléries et d'artistes exposés étaient énorme. Le meilleur moment pour visiter la foire est le matin, avant 14h avant que la foule n'arrive. Nous avons trouvé que les gens étaient ouverts et donnaient facilement des infos sur les artistes et nous avons découvert pas mal d'artistes que nous connaissions pas, surtout d'Asie.
